ēvOAKs next Generation products are the next step in a lineage of forward-thinking oak alternatives. These oak chips represent ideal combinations of intensity, mouthfeel and structure, while capitalizing on the unique properties of French and American oak. Next Generation also benefits from extreme toasting precision. We have developed a new process and corresponding technology that toast more accurately, for better tasting, more precise flavors.

Next Generation offer four types, which allow the winemaker the choice of the right variety for his special needs.

NG.466F A French oak chip offering a moderate overall intensity while notably benefiting both mouthfeel and structure.	Aroma:
NG.567F This French oak chip is the boldest of all, offering significant overall oak impact complex mouthfeel and exceptional structure.	Aroma:
NG.455A An American oak chip with moderate overall oak impact, and balanced addition of both mouthfeel and structure.	Aroma:

Size of the chips: Big

Packaging: Packed from 1 kg, original container 14 kg

Usage: The chips can be used during any stage of development of wine, beer or distillate. The chips are packed in the desired dosage (e.g. in infusion nylon tubes, tubular bandage, ...) and then added to the alcohol.

The treatment with wood chips results in an extraction of color, odor and flavor compounds that are contained in the wood. For this reason, samples should be taken regularly until the desired effect is achieved with your alcohol and the chips are removed.

Contact time: We recommend to use the product during the maturing or finishing process for a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 6 months. As an option, the dosage can be increased during the short maturation.
