Replacement lid for rain barrels including a wooden handle. The lid is produced in our cooperage from used wooden barrels. We will customize the lid to to the size you require. Please specify the required outer diameter at the end of the online order in the comment field.

Rain barrel made from chestnut wood 50 l – 150 l

Rain barrel made of chestnut. These barrels are specifically made as decorative barrels unlike the oak barrels. The barrel head has been removed, made into a lid and a wooden handle added. A characteristic of chestnut wood is that it quickly darkens. Untreated barrels change their appearance when exposed to the weather. The hoops may be very quickly affected by flash rust and the tannins wash out of the barrel (tan). Therefore, do not place the chestnut barrels on high-quality patio slabs or paving stones.

Round oak water tub about 2500 l. This beautiful water tub is versatile. It can be used as a rain collector, pond or as a bath tub. When through repeated filling the tan (tannins) are washed out of the wood, the tub is perfect as a mini-pool for your bathing experience in your garden. The barrel blends in well with the landscape and can be placed wherever you like. Over the years, the wood color tone will become more intense and the tub will gain radiance.
