In our carpenter's workshop, we rebuilt the red wine barrel with craftsmanship into this beautiful flower tub. First, the staves were glued and waves were cut out from the top of the barrel. These waves are finely sanded and the resulting form makes this flowerpot into an absolute eyecatcher in your garden. Two drilled holes serve as carrying handles. The hoops are wire brushed and the pot is coated with boat varnish.

The sturdy vats are made of seasoned oak wood, so-called staves.
The staves are straightened according to cooper tradition and processed into a tub. The interior of the vats is fully flamed. On the outside, treatment with oil gives a silky matte sheen.The durable flower, tree, or herb containers are tied with three galvanized hoops.
The tubs can be lowered by mounting two crossbars on the bottom side for better transport and pick-up by a lift truck.

Large planters, made in our cooperage from oak barrel staves covered with patina from an approx. 5000 l red wine barrel. The tubs are finely sanded on the outside and the finishing on the outside is done with oil. Squared timbers (height approx. 10 cm) are attached to the base of the bucket to enable it to be picked up by a forklift or pallet truck.
This series is for professional gardens or parks where trees or large plants are used.

Bearing beams, which are optionally available, we generally recommend as accessories for vats and larger planters. We manufacture these beams from Douglas fir, a type of wood that is weather and moisture resistant for a very long time.
If you have ordered your tub or planter with total discharges, we will cut out the bearing beams at the appropriate place, if necessary, or provide them with an appropriate hole.
The number, dimension and position of the support beams depend on the size and nature of the respective container and may vary.
